After viewing the gruesome and heartbreaking video of George Floyd taking his last breath, our founders were disheartened to see that from attending their first protest in 2014, six years later in 2020, Black people were still dying at the hands of police brutality.

 

Fueled by the commitment to justice, they recognized the need for establishing an organization that would center youth voices around developing a response that would mobilize communities to fight against racism, discrimination, and inequity. 

 

Our people deserve justice, and they deserve it now!
